BottleHood is named after Co-Founder Leslie Tiano’s passion to create local jobs, stimulate the economy, and help the environment. They have quickly made a name for themselves not only in San Diego, but worldwide. A staff of twenty employees take liquor, wine, beer, soda, and wine bottles headed to landfills, and turn them into a broad line of glassware, light fixtures, and jewelry. Even with their 500% growth, BottleHood still has a booth at San Diego’s Hillcrest Farmers Market every Sunday. While Bottlehood is not the first to turn bottles into tumblers (people have been cutting bottles since people began making bottles), they are the first company to create an entire line of high-quality, repurposed glassware. If you happen to find yourself in San Diego, stop by and visit to get a tour of their factory store. Located at 680 West Bradley Avenue, El Cajon, 92020. They are open from 9AM - 4PM, most days.
