In 2008, Gene Jameson’s Christmas present to his son was a wooden knife assembly kit that he created out of wood scraps. He wanted make something interactive that they could assemble together. The kit instantly captured the attention of his 7-year-old, and he began making other wooden puzzles kits shortly thereafter. Jameson Woodworks is a one-man operation in Belton, South Carolina.
