Why do lumberjacks wear plaid? Because the trees fall faster when you’re not wearing a pink chiffon negligee. Pladra makes some of the greatest plaid shirts the forest has ever seen. Made out of 100% cotton in San Francisco, each shirt also features forest scenes printed on the inside of the cuff, collar, and yoke. But these shirts aren’t just made to be worn in the wilds of the world. They feature custom buttons and embroideries as well, so you can wear it just as comfortably on a date with a pogonophile (beard lover) as you can on a date with an 80 foot pine tree.
The folks behind Pladra had a problem. Where can the modern outdoorsman find a plaid shirt that’s functional enough to be worn out in the wild, while also being stylish enough to impress the cityfolk? So they created their own company, one that creates high-quality, field-ready flannel with it’s own sense of style. Each shirt they make features outdoor scene liners in the cuff, collar, and yoke. And they make all of them in San Francisco.

Details and Care
Image printed liner on cuffs, collar and yoke. Pladra shirts are made from 100% cotton flannel, which means they will shrink when using a dryer on high heat. An unwashed Pladra may tend to fit slightly bigger and longer. When machine dried, shirts on average shrink up to 1'' in length and 1'' in width. If you like the fit of your off the rack (unwashed) shirt, hang dry or use a low-heat dryer setting for less or no shrinkage. If your shirt originally fits too long or big, use a slightly higher drying setting to shrink it to your liking.
